Anita qualified as an occupational therapist in 1997 and has specialised in the field of Acquired Brain Injury (ABI) since 2000, working both in residential rehab and in the community at a senior level. She began working as a case manager with WCM in 2004, alongside independent occupational therapy work, and is also a care expert; giving Anita a sound knowledge of the litigation process.

Anita took on the role of clinical support manager at WCM in 2015 and is now the clinical lead and case manages a small number of clients; work which she absolutely loves.

 

She undertakes a variety of activities to support case managers in their clinical practice, including induction training, facilitating peer support meetings, updating on current changes to legislation and practice, mentoring case managers, and working with the company director to provide clinical guidance and undertake quality assurance.

 

Anita provides ABI training for individuals who work in this field; in particular for support workers, and  professionals working in deputyship or litigation teams.

Anita is an active contributor to BABICM council and PPMG. as well as being an advanced member of BABICM.
